Diploma in Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been an important component procrdure in Chinese medicine including prevention and rehabilitation for thousand of years. Ti is effective, cheap, safe, simple and free from lasting adverse effects, It can be practiced exclusively or as an anricllary to other recognized system of medicine, without any adverse intraction but synergistic but synergistic to them. Reference is available in Marmashastra where the technique is called Suchi- Vedha.

Baside China, Korea, Japan, Hongkong, Taiwan, Russia, Singapore, India, Sri Lanka & many more have recognized Acupuncture and many countries have a separate department at their teaching colleges, Sri Lanka & many has a separate ministry providing Acupuncture as a useful Armamentarium in certain listed diseases and also sponsored a world congress on Acupuncture at Colombo in 1979. In America Acupuncture is regulated and there are recognized accredited Universities teaching Acupuncture and many state permit expenses on Acupuncture treatement reimbursed through Insurance. Acupuncture is quite prevalent in France, Indonesia, England, Australia, Africa and New Zealand. Indian Medical Council, West Bengal & U.P. Government and UP State Medical Faculty have recgonised Acupuncture and have allowed one year Diploma course to be conducted at ‘Academy of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation’ at Satya Hospital & Reaserch Institute. We are the only Institute in the state to offer a recognized ‘Diploma in Acupuncture’. “Diploma in Acupuncture and Rehabilitation” is a one year full time course approved by Uttar Pradesh government and recognized by U.P. State Medical faculty.

The course offers an excellent opportunity to learn theory and train in a running multi – disciplinary hospital, treating disables and handicapped. U.P. State Medical faculty will conduct the examinations, award Diploma to successful candidates and register them as qualified Acupuncturist. We will provide career guidance and help you career. Associated Satya Hospital is a running hospital treating trauma, orthopaedics and handicapped. It has two operation theaters with most modern Image Intensifier, Anaesthesia & monitoring equipments and operating tools. The range of Acupuncture equipments is near total and one of the best in country.

We specialize in treating chronic pain and disabilities through Acupuncture and Physiotherapy. The Hospital also has facilities for a Russian “IIizarov technique” with which legs and arms can be lengthened, deformities corrected and long standing difficult and complicated fractures united.

Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination of a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics. A photocopy attested by the candidate himself of the pass certificates will be required to produce original documents at the time of interview

Those appearing in qualifying examinations this year are also eligible but they will have to produce a proof to have passed it before final selection.

Minimum Age : Must have completed seventeen years of age on or before 1st July of the selection year (attach proof). Selection : Total number of seats is 30: The selection will be on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and an objective type written examination or interview to be held at “Acupuncture and Rehabilitation”. Medical Fitness : The selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination at their expense from the prescribed authority. The final selection will be subject to, them being found physically fit. Course Fee: Rs. 36000/- (Rupees Thirty Six Thousand only) yearly, to be paid before the last date fixed by the institute, through crossed bank draft favouring “Academy of Acupuncture & Rehabilitation” payable at Lucknow or in cash at reception counter. The fee is neither refundable nor adjustable.

as fixed by UP State Medical Faculty Lucknow at the time of final examination.
Hostel : Seprate rooms for girls are available - Single and double seated partly furnished hostel rooms with bed, mattress, pillow, table, chair, fan & tubelight are provided.
Mess : Provides vegetarian breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner.
Hostel fee : Double Seated : Rs. 90,000/- per annum
Single Seated : Rs. 1,10,000/- per annum
The fee includes lodging and fooding and has to be paid at the time of admission favouring Academy of acupuncture and rehabliation . The fee is neither refundable nor adjustable.
Last date : Completed application in all respects should reach a Acupuncture and Rehabilitation on or before 20th October.
